JOB DESCRIPTION
Landmark Development Services Company is a leading real estate development firm with an opportunity for a highly organized, multi-tasking full-time Office Coordinator/ Accounting Assistant in downtown Madison. This position provides a very important first impression for our company and we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent people skills, and a general willingness to be a team player.
Responsibilities:

Greet and assist on-site guests

Answer and direct inbound telephone calls
-
Oversee distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
-
Maintain office organization and cleanliness
-
Assisting CFO and Accounting Team with various administrative tasks
-
Preparing and tracking of project contract documents and contract changes
-
Receiving, sorting, and coding invoices
-
Collecting, reviewing, and verifying staff timesheets and expense reports
-
Processing weekly check runs
-
Assisting with month-end closing procedures
-
Assisting with project financial reporting
-
Project and Accounting department filing
-
Ordering and maintaining office supplies
-
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
The ideal candidate will have:
-
An associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business;

Experience in the real estate or construction industry;
-
One to two years of accounting assistant experience in a professional and fast-paced environment;

Strong communication skills and professional attitude;
-
The ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, give attention to detail, and take direction;

Experience with MS Word and Windows programs (experience with Acumatica a plus, but not required).
